Parsonage Walk-Through
If you would like to take a look at the work that has been done in the parsonage, today after church would be a good opportunity. We give thanks for all the time, effort, and contributions that made the updates possible.
Parsonage Phone Number
The number from the parsonage 398-2778 has been ported to a cell phone. This should be a local call for those in the Markesan/Manchester area. This will be the number for future pastors as well. Pastor’s current cell phone number will also be answered. If you are unable to leave a message in the next few days, try the 920-344-9580 number. The previous carrier has been very slow in releasing the number to the new carrier.
Proposal from Luther Memorial, FDL
You will see a letter to our congregation posted on the bulletin board from our On sister congregation in Fond du Lac. They are proposing to share a pastor between our two congregations on a trial basis. The council has discussed this briefly at the last two meetings, but had taken no action. Now that an invite to discuss the matter has occurred, please prayerfully consider this and give the council your input before the January meeting.
New ILC Tour Choir CD Available
A newly produced recording of choral music, sung by Tour Choirs of Immanuel Lutheran College, is scheduled to be available the week of December 14. It is a 2-CD set, featuring pieces sung by various choirs from 1991 to 2015. The first CD primarily reflects the themes of Advent and Christmas, the second the themes of Lent and Easter. The cost per 2-CD set is $16 (or two sets for $30). The sets are available through the ILC Bookhouse.
Missing Roaster
There is a Nesco roaster missing from the church kitchen. Please return it right away if you have it.
