Project KINSHIP Sponsorships Available
Our CLC Board of Missions has recently shared the exciting news of the establishment of the Himalayan Bible Institute (HBI) in Nepal for the training of Lutheran pastors—both those who aspire to the ministry, and those who are already serving established congregations but require further training before ordination. The HBI will hold classes and provide room and board for ten students for one week every month. During the rest of the month they will receive on-the-job training in our HCLCN churches. The cost to support an HBI student through Project KINSHIP is $40 per month, which goes to provide books, meals and transportation. If you would like to sponsor a student, please contact KINSHIP Committee member Rev. David Fuerstenau at (907) 225-2842, or e-mail djfuerstenau@kpunet.net.
