Upper Grade Classroom Call
Barry Hay has accepted the call to teach half-time in the upper grade classroom for the 2016-17 school year. Marie Muehlenhaupt is considering her call.

Grade School Sponsors Needed
Due to rising costs of the t-shirts that are provided to the tourney participants, the money from our current sponsor is not going to be enough going ahead. As tournament director I’m seeking additional sponsors/businesses that could contribute at $100-$200 per year, starting this year. Before I put out a notice synod wide (and maybe have to sort through multiple responses), I decided to put it before our congregation first. If you are interested in helping please see me. – Pastor Schierenbeck

Project KINSHIP Sponsorships Available
Our CLC Board of Missions has recently shared the exciting news of the establishment of the Himalayan Bible Institute (HBI) in Nepal for the training of Lutheran pastors—both those who aspire to the ministry, and those who are already serving established congregations but require further training before ordination. The HBI will hold classes and provide room and board for ten students for one week every month. During the rest of the month they will receive on-the-job training in our HCLCN churches. The cost to support an HBI student through Project KINSHIP is $40 per month, which goes to provide books, meals and transportation. If you would like to sponsor a student, please contact KINSHIP Committee member Rev. David Fuerstenau at (907) 225-2842, or e-mail djfuerstenau@kpunet.net.
